Refund policy

There is one refund, and only one: if Lacey Baseball Academy cancels the membership. If the family cancels, there is no refund.

  1. 1. If you cancel

No refund. If a parent, player, or guardian cancels auto-pay, withdraws, relocates, is injured, is dissatisfied, misses practices, or stops attending, the current paid month and every prior payment stay with the academy. Canceling auto-pay only stops future Stripe charges. It does not unlock unused days, unused hours, or a credit.

  2. 2. If the academy cancels

Lacey Baseball Academy LLC may cancel any player’s membership for any reason or for no reason, including if a player does not share Character, Accountability, and Work Ethic. A player who does not share these values will be released, because those interests do not align with the program’s vision. When the academy cancels, auto-pay stops and the family receives a prorated refund of unused days remaining in the current paid monthly period only. No other month, fee, or damage is refunded.

  3. 3. How the prorated amount is calculated

Daily rate = $200 ÷ number of calendar days in that paid month. Unused days = whole calendar days after the academy’s cancellation effective date through the last day of that paid period. Refund = unused days × daily rate, rounded to the nearest cent. Example: a 30-day month cancelled effective day 10 leaves 20 unused days. Refund = 20 ÷ 30 × $200 = $133.33.

  4. 4. How the refund is paid

The prorated amount is returned on Stripe to the original card or bank account used for that month. Typical card refunds post in 5–10 business days depending on the bank. The academy does not issue cash, checks, store credit, or extra practice hours in place of that Stripe refund.

  5. 5. What is never refunded

Weather cancellations, shortened practices, field closures, missed sessions, injury, relocation, dissatisfaction, no-shows, and unused training hours never create a refund or a makeup. Prior months are never refunded. The first day of a paid period and the cancellation effective date are not unused days.
